Our Story
19 Computing started in 2014 with a simple idea: Portsmouth deserved a computer repair service that actually fixes things properly, tells you honestly what's wrong, and doesn't charge the earth for it.
Based at our workshop on Durham Street — just off Fratton Road, a short walk from Fratton station — we've repaired thousands of laptops, desktops, Macs, iPhones, and iPads for homes, students, NHS staff, and businesses across Portsmouth and Hampshire.
What makes us different is that we don't just swap parts. Our technicians diagnose down to the component level — soldering individual chips, replacing capacitors, tracing faults on the board. If another shop says your motherboard is dead, bring it to us first. We've rescued plenty of laptops that were written off elsewhere.
We also believe in transparent pricing. Our standard repair is £49.95 plus parts. Diagnostics are £20, waived if you go ahead with the repair. Fast Track (same-day) is an extra £35. Student and NHS discounts are 10% off everything. No hidden fees, no jargon, no upselling.

6-Month Warranty
Every repair comes with a 6-month labour warranty and 12-month manufacturer warranty on new parts. If something we fixed breaks again, we sort it.

Opening Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm. Walk-ins welcome. Collection and delivery available across Portsmouth and Southsea for £10 (free for students and NHS).
